Ellenora told me that her proudest achievement is when she spoke in front of the class as she is a very shy kid.
Taheesha told me hat her proudest achievement is when she said a speech about why she should be a Manaiakalani leader in front of 2 judges and other students.
Today for activity 2, day 3, of our Teaser week of summer learning journey , I interviewed three of my friends and asked them what their proudest achievement was or if they were proud of someone in their family for achieving something.

Activity 2: Equal pay for Equal Work?`
I think that both women and men should get the same amount of pay when they are doing the same job. The Black Ferns put the same amount of effort in training and work just as hard as the All Blacks do. Just because the All Blacks are men does not mean that they should get more pay than the women's team.

Activity 2: Pepeha
Today I created a pepeha. This one of the activity from SLJ Teaser week. In this DLO I wrote what my mountain is, what my river is, where I am safe and what my name is in Maori. I then added in images of my original country, mountain, river and a image of me. Underneath what I wrote in Maori I translated it to English so that people know what I wrote. I had a lot of fun doing this activity.
